Summer Reading Requirements for Children Entering Second Grade
Please read at least two books from the Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Park and/or the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne. In addition the student should read a minimum of two other books based on the student's interests and reading level.

1 Large glue or glue stick
1 Crayon bag or box (small enough for the desk)
1 Ruler – 12 inches and centimeters
Crayons and markers
1 pair of scissors
1 Box of tissues
1 Roll of paper towels
1 Pack of Napkins
Watercolors
School Bag
Lunch Bag
1 copy book to be used for Journaling
**all additional copybooks will be provided at school**
