Instrumental Music
In addition to the regular music curriculum, Saint Andrew School offers individual and small group lessons on a variety of musical instruments. S. Anna Marie Boyer, SSJ teaches piano and violin to children in grades 1 through 8. Mr. Larry Davidson provides lessons on band instruments to children in grades 4 through 8. The children perform twice a year for the student body and their parents at our annual Christmas Concert and the Spring Concert.
School Shows
Saint Andrew students in grades 5 through 8 have the opportunity to share their talents for acting, singing and dancing on stage by participating in the annual school show. The show also provides practice for future stage hands. The highlight of the 8th grade year is the performance of the Passion Play. This long time tradition allows our 8th grade students to reflect on and re-enact the Passion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord.
