Foundation for Catholic Education

The Foundation for Catholic Education has created a Special Purpose Entity (SPE) that allows you to make a donation to the Foundation for Catholic Education and receive 90% of it back in the form of a Pennsylvania state tax credit. This in turn reduces your Pennsylvania income tax obligation. 

Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, school families, parishioners, businesses, and friends who have already made donations, Saint Andrew School will award over $200,000 in financial aid in the 2024-2025 school year through these SPE programs.

This SPE requires a two-year commitment and a donation of at least $1,000 per year in order to earn the 90% tax credit (for 2024 and 2025 tax years). Participation eligibility requires taxable income from a for-profit company. If a married couple has one spouse working for a non-profit and the other spouse working for a for-profit, they are eligible to participate at their total combined income level.
